Hi there ! We have a distributed network , all the m/c have homes of the users hoisted & exported via NFS , but in many a linux machines the exported homes are at times not available . This happens almost every morning when you are in the office , then painfully restarting NFS service on the concerned computers .This also hampers the delivery of mail in the homes of concerned users .
( This is particulraly interesting as we have several SUN machines also on the network but this problem has never occured with them ) Is this the problem of NFS of Red Hat or some configurable options have to be taken care of ?
