look at hosts.allow -- Suresh Ramasubramanian <----> mallet <at> efn dot org EMail Sturmbannfuhrer, Lower Middle Class Unix Sysadmin [Linux One Stanza Tip] From : <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> LOST #123 -**< Sub : Limits for UID >**- FYI, the number of UIDs a Linux system can take is fixed. This is kernel dependent. Kernels before 2.4 used a 16 bit UID and therefore a max of 65536 users. Kernel 2.4 uses 32 bit UID viz upto 4 billion users. Which computer would have that many ? _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
