It is not something you have done wrong. Neither is a compat-libs issue. 
If you dont need compat-libs you may remove it. Actually the problem is 
that the CD's dont work. I dont know why but I got to try 3 CD's from 
different Vendors in Delhi and all of them gave the same error. 
Unfortunately neither they themselves or whoever they consider as 
McAfee's support team in India had any idea. I would suggest you simply 
download the tar from McAfee's site and use that. I can assure you it 
works perfectly without any tweaking or installing compat-libs on RedHat 7.2
