Seems like an eminently sensible move to me. Sourceforge has something which
should worry Indian users a LOT more ... smtp callbacks.
Check the sending domain. Say vsnl.com
Telnet back to the MX records of vsnl.com
If (postmaster exists - or at least, doesn't bounce with a 550)
then (accept mail and deliver it)
else (bounce it with a note to the effect that sourceforge doesn't accept
mail from domains too stupid to have a postmaster)
I owe Marc Merlin, the sourceforge postmaster, a beer for this. And I owe a
beer or two to whoever thought of adding vsnl's dialup blocks to the DUL.
