Hi all, My problem reg. the 1/4 screen display of quake 3 has been solved. The problem only exists on the 2.4.19-pre-ac kernel - i switched to the default kernel i.e. 2.4.8 and everything is perfect. Quake 3 is as good (maybe better) than as it was on Windoze. Maybe the 2.4.19 series has a merge of new series of DRI drivers, shrug.
