Hello, I am one of the silent ILUG members who has been using linux since about three years. By profession I am a radiologist . I am an avid Linux fan, but no "guru". As far as I know, I am the first person in my town - Valsad ( south gujarat) to have installed and consistently used linux. I do know of a few persons here that have tried but switched back to some "other OS" just because they did not have the patients nor any support. After having learnt a bit myself, i have been ATTEMPTING to propagate the use of linux in this town. So far I have been able to install linux on a meagre total of 5 desktop machins. One of teh ISPs here has linux on their server. Thats all. Do let me know of some few methods of creating public awareness in this regards. Thank you.
