Hi, This may be a little off the main course of discussion here, but believe me, I tried alternative sources before resorting to LIH.
I successfully installed Mailman 2.0.5 and even created a test list. The problem is that the email containing the list information that I receive as the list creator, has no "From:" field. Also, the email asks me to use 'test-request@' to subscibe to the test list "test". This happens when I try to subscribe to the test list as an external user too. I get the email asking me to confirm the subscription, but the email has no "From:" field. Hence I cannot reply to it and confirm my subscription!! I guess that mailman is not able to add my domain name (alienfluid.com) to all the email addresses. I read the INSTALL and README file completely and thoroughly (at least I think so!) but I do not find a mention of this problem or any configuration step involving the domain name of my machine. Has anyone successfully configured Mailman and is using it? Please help!
