Hi ! I've deployed a Linux 7.2 m/c into existing NIS based network , but the New Linux m/c is not allowing to login users having password of more than 8 characters to be validated from Sun Solris based NIS server running on the Network . But one uses only 8 characters of the same password it allows to login ! I don't know why it's doing so ? Any help please ?
