Hi
This seems to be a pretty old card. A friend of mine had it on his 486. Some sorta added performance for his Dos games. We tried searching the net for linux drivers but in vain. That was about 2 years back. I doubt whether it will support frame buffer mode. regards On Fri, 22 Mar 2002, Kingsly John wrote: > On 22 Mar 2002, Gangadhran Kannan wrote: > > |I had installed linux in my computer > |but I can't make it to work X Windows > |because I can't find a driver for > |my ALI M3147V Graphics Card. > > what kind of card is it .. and how much video RAM does it have ? > > if there is no specific driver available for your card.. then you'll have > to do with the default SVGA driver or the fb(framebuffer) driver that > ships with X > > Kingsly > > > -- Nataraj S Narayanan Synergy Info Systems Kochi,India-683 503 Ph:95 484 557244 _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
