ok, checked the .conf file, the entry was there. Re ran ldconfig... did'nt
work.
so I added a new entry which was " more resolved".
[root@Pprasad Raptor]# cat /etc/ld.so.conf
/usr/X11R6/lib
/opt/csm/lib
/opt/csm/lib/compat
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
/opt/kde/lib
/opt/kde2/lib
/usr/lib/qt2/lib
/opt/gnome/lib
[root@Pprasad Raptor]#ldconfig
[root@Pprasad Raptor]#
Then ymess'ger could start , but gave me a lot these GTK errors ...
"Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate loadable module in module_path: "libxfce.so"
and the thing seg faults on adding a buddy.
Any hope? am on GTK 1.2.8
