I agree but I thought some feelings are mutual and complimentary. If somebody requests for help, being bit humble would be a nice guesture.. Don't you think? And does it matter that he is a newbie when he posts in all CAPS? Is that guy on mainframe? The treatment he got not because he is newbie but because he was acting rude.. > If this particular issue pisses you off this much, you are much better > off implementing a work around, maybe like the one Binand posted. Few things.. 1)Issue is not with me but some other guy who posts in CAPS. So better he observe some discipline rather than me translating his badly formatted mails. 2)I am on windows due to job and can not use procmail. So that recipe is no good for me. 3)Due to point 1, even if it's possible for me to have a formatter, I am not going to implement it. 4)I think it's time to add this to list guidelines that use of excessive/unnecesary CAPS is taken as abusive language and is forbidden. I am sure the concerned fellow lister is LARTed by this time. At least he must be under moderation. I really felt bad for writing those words but I found it irritating. I thought little manners help. So if somebody doesn't show some little manners, why should I bother to show some? Frankly I consider the list as hell patient given the amount of CAPS/little- informed/In the FAQ queries.. Any more discussions on this.../dev/null. I have better things to do than arguing on this.
