Dear friends,
I wanted to find out who all are running the secondry of my primary DNS that
is permanently connected to internet on a Linux Machine running Bind 9.1.0.
So in my named.conf file, I had put following in the end:

logging {
category lame-servers {
null;
};
category xfer-out {
default_syslog;
};
category panic {
default_syslog;
};
category security {
default_syslog;
};
};
===================
And still nothing is logged related to DNS zone transfers in
/var/log/messages file which the default system log for kernel.
Instead there is an error in the log:
"Mar 20 18:21:52 seawolf named[12910]: unknown logging category 'panic'
ignored"
what could be the reason????
