i managed to compile it with mysql.

i had to do a make clean before configuring it again. so i conveniently
deleted the source dir and un tarred it again.

now, i am getting this error.

Mar 29 14:41:27 mail postfix/qmgr[25776]: 26474415A7:
from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, size=862, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Mar 29 14:41:27 mail postfix/virtual[26137]: 26474415A7:
to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, relay=virtual, delay=1, status=deferred (maildir
delivery failed: create
/var/spool/mail/Maildir/tmp/1017393087.26137_0.mail.mydomain.com: Permission
denied)

who should be the owner of /var/spool/mail?
i have created postfix used and postdrop. Maildrop is doing my filtering.

i want Maildir/ and i want that all Maildir/ are in /var/spool/mail
like for example
/var/spool/mail/arvind/Maildir
/var/spool/mail/anotheruser/Maildir

so that i can take a backup for the whole /var/spool/mail when i need to do
it.

Arvind
