I have a RH 7.1 setup, with a gnome desktop. i cannot install KDE coz of limited disk space. i m facing these following probs:
1. when i switch my server on, it automatically starts dialing, even before i get a login prompt. 2. sometimes after disconnecting, it automatically starts redialling though i havent put the 'Reconnect when connection dies' flag off. 3. does not release the telephone line, even though it is disconnected. 4. when i ping to a site, after reconnecting to the net, i expect the ping to result into returning the msecs of the site, but instead it just returns 'Invalid site' as if it was still not connected. can u pls help me with the probs listed abv.
