Try Dave Sill's http://www.lifewithqmail.org Or, maybe, just read the qmail installation readme ... There's of course http://www.qmailtheeasyway.com - but it is a bit over-engineered I think ... you'd basically need (max qmail + dnscache + serialmail for a dialup line .. and ucpsi-tcp to run it. Stuff like rblsmtpd and ezmlm are not just overkill, they won't really work out too well for a dialup. Mailing list managers need always-on connections, and rblsmtpd needs a static IP as well... you can hardly go around trying to filter your ISP, which is the handoff you will see if you, as a typical ISP user, pop mail down). Ditto, vmailmgr is again major overkill for a dialup line. I don't run qmail anywhere for pleasure, just wherever my work requires it, so can't comment on any bugs (if any) in the guy's setup. -srs -- Suresh Ramasubramanian <----> mallet <at> efn dot org EMail Sturmbannfuhrer, Lower Middle Class Unix Sysadmin [Linux One Stanza Tip] From : <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> LOST #179 -**< Sub : Pronouncing "LINUX" >**- Well, it is something like "lih-nucks" ..
