Hi, For some of the mails which are going through our PCQ Linux 7.1 email server I am getting the following error :
--------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... while talking to www.dempos.com: >>> RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <<< 550 5.7.1 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Relaying denied 550 5.1.1 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... User unknown --------------------------------------------------------------- What does this message indicate ? 1. Is relaying denied for trans-maritime.com domain by www.dempos.com ? www.dempos.com is our webhost. 2. The second error indicates that the user is unknown. This also happens to some of the other domains too. The biggest problem is though the mails are bouncing with the above messages, the user is not getting a copy of these bounced mails, the copy is received only my the postmaster ? Why ? It should also go to the user who has sent the mail, saying that look here your mail is bounced for so and so reason. I am little bit confused by both messages to the same mail. Can anybody interpret it for me ? Thanks in advance.
