Hi friends, Can anyone please tell me how can I block all the external request's coming to my machine hoisted in the internet using Ipchains.(I am using Kernal 2.2 series and not yet updated to 2.4 series) If I give ipchains -A input -i eth0 -j DENY it is stopping the net traffic from the local lan also using the eth0 interface.I have two network interface,eth0 connected to global and eth1 to the local.I am using packet forwarding from the Lan using the global interface.But I need to stop access from outside (all the tcp request)How will I do this.Please help me.
