Hello, I have a DLINK DFM-560ES modem (56.6K external). I have Win98 as well as Mandrake 8.1(2.4.12 Kernel). I get on an average 30Kbpsfrom Windows, but in Linux, I get hardly 21Kbps. I actually tried copying the settings in Windows to Linux but to no avail. Is there any settings I should change in Linux. The modem is connected to /dev/ttyS0. The ouptut of setserial -a /dev/ttyS0 reports some thing like: baud rate:115200 16550A irq 4 port 03f8 spd_normal and so on. I also tried to set the spd_vhi, but it doesn't seem to work.
