I was planning to install Linux as domain controller and windows nt workstation or 2000 professional as workstation. And then setup some security on Linux domain controller. Should it work ? > > > > > how can v stop this with Linux. i mean if we setup a LAN with Linux server > > with SAMBA domain controller and firewalls , can v stop it. > > No you can't unless you put NT. I would say install linux on workstations. Get > latest KDE3.0/mozilla/ etc. Shouldn't bother most of the users. Install > openoffice on a server so that it doesn't hog workstation resources. Also MSN messenger is not working on Linux. Some chat applications are also required IE ( now here microsoft's policy comes in picture). I can remove windows from workstation, however i can do what i want with linux server. --kunal _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
