I certainly did not install it from the Best suggestion for you would be to learn how to use perl modules and more specifically how to use CPAN to get the latest modules.
Otherwise connect to the internet and do the following. perl -MCPAN -e shell cpan>install DBI My first thought was to ofcourse ask you questions like. 1. Do you know how to program in perl? 2. Have you heard of CPAN ? 3. Do you know how to use rpm? 4. Try using 'rpm -qa | grep -i DBI' to search for your DBI rpm. 5. Try 'rpm -qf /usr/share/man/man3/DBI.3pm.gz' to find out which rpm it belongs to. 6. Your questions are not stupid but considering how little you know about installing rpm and/or perl packages I wonder what you are doing with DBI on Linux.
