sify.com was giving free pop3. I had long ago registered with them and i was still using that account.
i discontinued sify as i did not like the speed. and after that for around 7-8 months i was getting free pop3 email from imap.sify.com now if i try to connect i get the following error. +OK POP3 Server Ready. +OK Password required. Login not permitted for pop3 Connection to host lost. seems all the guys are not willing to give pop3. why is that so? how will they profit by web mail and lose by giving pop3?
