Same thing I did today but Ihad to set up 5 users with a weird mix of group 
they belong thanks to cvs server they will be accessing. And it's not me who 
specified access control in that way.

On a general rant, yesterday I installed MDK8.2 on that machine, with all bells 
and whistles. Today I was configuring a LAMP product on it for task tracking 
and it had an option for mail notification. I just entered addresses and it 
just worked. Out of box.

I guess it digged mx from DNS and self configured itself. It's postfix BTW.. 
Now I need to look into it to receive mails..;-)
