I had pcqlinux 7.1 w/ the stock kde. I upgraded this kde to kde 2.2.1 that came with pcq March 2002. It was much faster in loading and running but it seemed to break lpd.
I then loaded rh 7.2 and this comes w/ kde 2.2-11 and it is bogged down and seems to be dragging itself thru quicksand. Konqueror keeps crashing everytime I try to access www.google.com/linux. Has anyone else noticed this ? The install is only 2 days old if that is any help. The machine is an Athlon 900 w/ 128 ram.
