1) As such without * it forms an array. As I was reading other files to make 
the final one.
2) However I tried your idea. with star nothing is read.
page is empty.
In tripod site, they have TripodPage.pm and a way to send the page. 
code as follows
require TripodPage;
$PAGE = new TripodPage;

$page_location = 'mainfile.html';
$PAGE->sendPage($page_location, );
I have the same TripodPage.pm module in the cgi-bin module.
Even with the above code style effect is not there with my apache.
Where as in my tripod site I get the style effect.
