this is the listing of my
/usr/local/bin directory

ls
c++      gccbug                             i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc    pear
scp          ssh-agent         ssh1
c++filt  gcj                                    jar
pearize         scp1        ssh-agent1      sudo
cpp      gcjh                                  jcf-dump
php-config   slogin       ssh-askpass    tnef
g++      gcov                                jv-scan
phpextdist    ssh           ssh-askpass1  uvscan
g77      i686-pc-linux-gnu-c++     make-ssh-known-hosts    phpize
ssh-add    ssh-keygen
gcc      i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++     make-ssh-known-hosts1  phptar
ssh-add1  ssh-keygen1

i keep seeing ssh-agent1 and ssh-askpass1 and files like that.
ssh-agent is a symbolic link to ssh-agent1 and respectively for the other
files as well.

could i have been hacked ?
