If CP comes with its own set of monitoring tools, just use those
instead. I am sure there are lots of win32 monitoring tools which you
can run on your NT server. Google is your friend.

Uhh, I have not tried to monitor traffic from a passive machine as all
my gw/firewall run Linux. I am not really sure how you would go about
it.

Are you on a switched LAN? IAC, here's a thought:

 - Configure your switch to "mirror" all the traffic that flows b/w the
firewall and the LAN to a separate port
 - Hook a Linux/BSD box to this port. This machine will have a complete
view of the traffic b/w LAN and the FW
 - Run a monitoring app like "ntop" or "iptraf" for obtaining graphs and
   stats from this host
