can i mount a cd-image file as a loopback device? i tried
"losetup </path/to/cd/image-file>", but it returns "loop: can't get info on device </path/to/cd/image-file>: Inappropriate ioctl for device" i did a "modprobe loop" before running it again, but with the same result. how does one do it? the manpage for losetup doesn't suggest anything different, as far as i can make out. the cdimage was created with mkisofs. i am running mandrake 8.2. - t. _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
