rpm is not that intellgent.

rpm -Fvh ftp://updates.redhat.com/7.1/en/os/noarch/*.rpm
rpm -Fvh ftp://updates.redhat.com/7.1/en/os/i386/*.rpm
rpm -Fvh ftp://updates.redhat.com/7.1/en/os/i686/*.rpm

Or run up2date

Or use your own common sense and update only some stuff, and remove the
rest :)
