dear members.
I have installed samba server on my server and it is
working fine.
My server is connect to win98/win2000 clients.
I am able to see server machine name on my winx
clients.
My problem is when I click on server machine name icon
on client m/c i amb unable to see server shares and it
it giving message as
//hydurb1 is not accesable
the network path was not found
( I have given a share section as fallows in smb.conf
and restarted the service.)
[cdrom]
comment = cdrom access to win users
path = /mnt/cdrom
guest user = revenue
browseable = yes
public = yes
it should be visible this share on my clients but
i am unable to see and it is giving message as
( hydurb1 is the samba server name )
\\hydurb1 is not accessable
the network path was not found
kindly give solution to this problem
