Those files are for rsh. rsh == bad. that is why ssh was created in the
first place.

Ok, man ssh-keygen, man sshd, man ssh.
Grab the ORA book on ssh. Pretty cheap for what it contains.

After you finish R'ing TFM, generate your keys, copy the public key over
to the other box to the correct file, and you are done. Watch out for
perimssions problems. Debugging a key pair based ssh connection usually
involves running the sshd from the command line with -d -d -d all
enabled, and rerouted to a file, and ssh -v -v -v for the client, again
sent to a file
