I Don't know about your SSL problem, but these logs are related to
Codered/Nimda scans. You dont have to worry about it unless you are
running unpatched IIS. But still those hits take up your webserver
resources and also garbles up your webalizer or any other such tool's
output.

Yes if you are running IIS, but probably the clueless owners at the
other end dont even know that their box is affected.
