But I am able to send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (mail.abc.com) from
Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. but the prob. here is I am not able to send
the mails from www.abc.com to mail.abc.com, the MX records point
correctly to mail.abc.com.

So, by stopping sendmail on www.abc.com, how will that help.
