dear list members,
i have a problem regarding ISP setup, we have a
64 kbps leased circuit ,with following setup:
1. RAS server on Win NT server 4.0 with RAS card from
Ariel Co-orporation (RS2000) how to port RAS server of
NT on Linux platform.
2. a linux server(RH 6.2) acting as a gateway ,
authenticating Radius server , squid acting as cache
server, how to maximise its performance as squid cache
server gets fills up very soon and how to port RAS on
Linux.
3. A local DNS server, will it help much and what if
we replace our Zyxel router with Linux router, will it
increase our performance.
4. how can make a dialup linux server with dhcp , dns,
squid acting as proxy and cache server for maximising
almost all the services on one linux box.what about
the security of it etc.
