Good Linux to e'body,

I am a new Linux User. ;-)
( Since long time I have not touched Linux. )

OK ! RH6.2 & I am a root. Some users go on dnloading the stuff, which is
officially NOT allowed. Even after repeated warnings, they simply ignore
them.

1)I want to reduce/increase user's diskspace whenever I want to do so -
on-the-fly.

2)It will be better if, I can make a user feel that he/she has consumed all
the allocated quota of disk-space, without *actually/physically* reducing
the disk-space.

3)Instead of reducing individual user's space, better if I can do it with a
bunch of users.

4)What is the min/max limit which we can allocate to a user ?

PS: The users being senior members, I want to do it without disturbing their
temparaments, if possible, else I may have to be terse.

Kindly enlighten pl.

Regards & thanks !

~ Pat
