In daemon mode,  fetchmail puts itself in background and runs 
forever,  querying each specified host and then  sleeping for 
the given polling interval. An example would be:

fetchmail -d 900

It is possible to do it through  .fetchmailrc for individual
users using "set daemon <duration>".  Kindly look up the man
pages/ FAQ.
