Gurus, need your help :-) In continuation of yesterday's posting regarding pppd error:
After successfully compiling pppd, when I tried installing it, I remember getting this error message: <snip> make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/ppp-2.4.0/pppdump' make: *** Warning: File '/etc/ppp' has modification time in the future (2002-05-30 17:30:10 > 2002-05-30 12:47:34) make: warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete. </snip> Does this have any relevance upon my problem, viz., inability to maintain internet connection. To recap: am using Potato, kernel upgraded to 2.4.1, upgraded modutils and pppd. Wvdial connects but drops line immediately. -- Cordially, Ajay Shankar _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
