I am looking for two pieces of software: 1. An off-line mail reader that is capable of handling imap over ssl. Preferrably non-X. Something along the lines of mutt.
2. A sturdy, secure, fast web mail interface (using PHP or some such) that lets me check my mail back home while I am on the road. The web server will be running over ssl for security. The software should be able to read my mail in Maildir format. Looking for your opinions and recommendations.
