We are having a few servers all running web based applications. We need to have a mechanism in place by which we control the access to the servers based on the user (not IP address). The servers are runing RH7.2. Most of the clients are using windows. We have proxy server running Squid. What should be the way to go for if we don't do this on the application level ? Do we have any way to achieve this by firewall like IPCHAIN ?
