 good linux...
 i am in doubt that present day NIC's support ipv.6
but you may enquire i am not sure consult some network
guru. more  over the ipv.6 mapping with the MAC
address of the NIC may also create the problem as it
is still not in the fully developed stages. since
ipv.6 is  still in concepts in the internet world.you
may surf www.librenix.com for some very good articles
on linux , hopefully a cookbook solution to your
problem is there.
