RH 7.3 is a bit of a dissapointment, when it comes to a choice in window
managers, i liked the older versions better. now you are stuck with gnome,
kde, windowmaker and TWM. whatever happened to fvwm/fvwm2, lestiff,
enlightenment ... ? luckily the xfce rpm worked out of the box for me. that
could be one reason for sticking with an older OS, others may include details
like familiarity such as with scripts, packages offered etc.
or maybe he has RH 6.2 and not any of their later distros. still are there
any reasons in particular why it won't work on a p4 other than screwed up
graphics ?
