Hi pat,

I found bash installed on our server and retried the script with it, and 
it worked..!
Bash version:
$ bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.03.0(1)-release (sparc-sun-solaris)
Copyright 1998 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

Why did it fail ?:O(
