I have been trying to find articles on Bluetooth using Linux (red hat). So far all I have been able to find is Windows and Unix. Anyone knows of any application developed using Linux for bluetooth or advanced wireless control (not messaging). I dont think real time linux solves the purpose either. Our specific needs are to remote control a Six wheeled All mechanical Control systems modelled on NASA's Crab Rover, but an advancement over it. At present the rover si able to climb any obstacle (up or down) twice its wheel diametre's height). It is mechanically robust and well developed. At present the team is interfacing it with a computer for automatic control but I want a more advanced remote control using an advanced server. We even bought Red Hat professional and Advanced Server but it apparently does nothing more than bundle mroe packages which one could have so easily donwloaded. This project is significant part of a MHRD project. Kindly guide. Just as a side thought: Dont u think this Mailing List and Linux users would benefit a lot if a compilation of good Mailing Disucssions are printed in hard copy every year for reference or sorted in a Forum by category? I guess a center can be alloted and asked to undertake the same. I presume this is the premier mailing list for Linux technical topics. regards vicki _________________________________________________________ There is always a better job for you at Monsterindia.com.
