Short answer: Sorry. You are out of luck. Can't do it in Linux. Long answer: The fundamental problem is with the way X does its clipboards. the clipboard currently only handles text. Also, there is the question of standards when it comes to applications communicating with the clipboard. The one ray of hope we have is if the Xprint architecture became more popular and the clipboard held postscript. That would be nice.
