There are 300 snippets presently on lost.sourceforge.net.

There are 322 on my box now. We have a mini-list where we
circulate the LOST contributions. Fredrick, the author of
the article, is subscribed to the mailing list.. Probably
he picked up 310 from there.  Normally, I  put  things up
when numbers reach multiples of 50.

I would be removing the LOSTs from  my home  page. I have
not updated them ever since geocities removed FTP facili-
ties for freebies. The link will point to sourceforge ...
which will have the last "official" update.

Formatting a DOS-16 bit partition in Linux:
a) Through Linux fdisk mark  the partion predesignated for DOS
   FAT-16 as Type 4 (if it is < 32 mb) or Type 6 (if > 32 mb).
b) mkdosfs (man mkdosfs for details). The minimum options are:
   #mkdosfs -c -f FAT-16 -n volume-label /dev/hdxN
