Hi Listers,

Problem was solved!
Yetsreday after installing java sdk 1.4 , I edited the .bash_profile
and gave the path erroneously. (AS ROOT !). Today I again logged in as
normal user , su'd and edited the .bash_profile, removed the offending
line and now it is ok.
