Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anybody. I was not aware of the
commercial tag. I will surely use as and when I make such postings.
Now comming to the questions asked in the group:
1. yes it is a commercial product and hence I don't think we can put it
on the SF.
2. We choose java because we wanted inter operatablity.
3. Regarding reporting, as someone already suggested we are writing it
to a file and then printing it. but for Display we are using JPane as
we have zoom-in and zoom-out features (Drill down reporting) in all our
consolidated reports. So we give a print botton which actually writes
out a text file and then prints it out to the printer.
4. Regarding speed, not because we have done it, it is ok. As a matter
of fact we are running these apps from LTSP nodes.
I am not sure if I will have to add a commercial tag to this too. I any
case I will add it. Once againg my appologies for my last posting.
