Hi,

We have been using Specialix io+8 - 8 port card (ISA) on linux for past 2
years. Now since some of the ports are not working we went for a new card.
Since the new card is PCI. We plugged it in. It was assigned iobase and irq
by bios. All the stuff in inittab is still there, specialix module is
loaded, however with this new card we are not getting the login prompt on
the dumb terminals. Our this application server is Red Hat 6.2. Due to some
things we cannot upgrade this server.

Now I am trying to configure this PCI Specialix card on Red Hat 7.2 on the
other machine. All ttyW* devices are there.

Is anybody using PCI Specialix card on Linux ? What am I doing wrong ?
Anything else needed to be configured for PCI Specialix card ?

Thanks in advance.

Peace

To know all mounted devices, do : cat /proc/mounts
Example below is to check for a mounted floppy from console or
from script : cat /proc/mounts | grep "/dev/fd0"
