I need Help with RH Linux 7.2 Samba / Apache Servers .....
I have a Running windows NT Network with both DHCP and WINS Servers on NT 4.0 and Win 9x Clients... I have a RH 7.2 Linux Box with static IP Address... Earlier , I had RH 6.1 on a box, that Just ran fine as far Samba and Apache are Concerned..... However , Since I upgraded to RH 7.2 , I have Problems with It..... The Network is UP, pinging to other terminals and receiving the ping requests from others . However , The samba and the Apache just wont work. I have tried all the configurations , but to no avail - I can see the Samba Domain on the Win9x M/c's . However, whenever I click it, I get the message that the m/c is not available on the network.. I have tried all the options all detailed in Samba Docs, PCQuest etc. But to no avail. I have the users created . But nothing would work. - Apache server is up, as I could see the test page by giving in the IP of the m/c on the linux box. However, It just won't work on the 9x Clients, giving web page not available error. Can 'ne one Help me with this problem...... Thanx in Advance...
