sorry to answer so late. i wasn't reading mails.
your syntax seems to be okay except you're specifying "--source-driver"
twice. i didn't need to do that even once. i let cdrdao decide which
driver to use.
i can't figure out why your vcd-s aren't getting copied. this
commandline works perfectly for me. perhaps one vcd was scratched or
something. did you try with several?
also, you might want to drop that "--on-the-fly" and increase "--speed"
instead, say, to 24 (if the drive supports it). is faster for me, and
less risk of wasted media.
and if you add "--save" to the commandline, the common options will be
saved to ~/.cdrdao, and you won't need to specify them again and again.
