ok, i'll bite.
you can write to the rediff people and ask them. state your login name and
date of birth. If you find them rude, then do not lose hope. write to the
microsoft people, and speak to them about the .backward file. they will be
more than happy to help you. clearly state your previous login name at rediff
and also the login id at hotmail.
